2026 California Regional Invention Conventions Announced

Both the Northern / Central and Southern Region California Invention Conventions are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026.  The Northern / Central California Invention Convention will be held at the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento.  The Southern Region California Invention Convention will be held at El Camino College in Torrance.  Check this list to learn which counties are assigned to each convention.  Event details are posted here as they become available.

Genspiration Showcase Announced

Applications are now open for the 2026 National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Student Showcase — an  opportunity for K–12 and university innovators to present their work on a world stage.  2026 NAI Annual Conference will take place June 1–4, 2026, in Los Angeles. Learn more here.

Note to our student inventors: The date of this event conflicts with the National Invention Convention June 3-5, 2026 at The Henry Ford Museum. You can only participate in one or the other of these events.
