Nationals

The RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals is hosted annually at The Henry Ford and showcases student inventors from among thousands who compete at state and local invention competitions.

Qualifying student inventors travel to The Henry Ford for a multi-day experience which includes:
· Presenting their invention to a panel of educational and industry expert judges.
· Meeting and engaging with other student inventors, professional experts and special guests.
· Participating in educational experiences, culminating in the awards ceremony.
· Exploring the venues of The Henry Ford, cash prizes and scholarships.

Each qualifying invention is eligible for over eighty grade level, category, industry and patent application awards, cash prizes and scholarshipsl

Students from California shone at the Invention Convention U.S. Nationals, held in June 2025 at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. Participants from across the state earned top honors, including several grade-level and Industry Sector awards. We’re incredibly proud of all the students who competed this year!!
