We are so grateful that El Camino College in Torrance has invited us back for another year! Our 2025 convention at this venue was a such a success- and we are so fortunate to be able to hold our 2026 event there on Saturday April 18, 2026.

11/1/25 – 1/24/26 - District Registration
2/13/26 – Student Registration Opens
3/13/26 – Student Registration Closes
4/18/26 – California Invention Convention: Southern Region and Awards Ceremony at El Camino College in Torrance

In the Regional Event, corporations, individuals and organizations have the opportunity to sponsor prizes for a particular industry or special achievement. The sponsor can work with CAIC to choose the winning invention (s). Additionally, sponsors help pay the costs of the event.

The California Invention Convention is a registered 501(c)(3) with a tax-exempt EIN 84-3492216. We currently do not charge the schools for the curriculum. We rely strictly on sponsors and donations for which we are most grateful.
